Meet Kendall, Jayme & Lauren
Kendall Runion - Lead Planner
Kendall is a South Carolina native, originally from Greenville, who moved to the Lowcountry to attend the College of Charleston and quickly fell in love with the area. After graduating, she spent six years as a teacher while assisting Jayme with weddings, building a strong foundation in organization, creativity, and client care.
A part of Brand Bars and Events since the very beginning, Kendall transitioned into planning full-time in 2021. She is passionate about creating celebrations that feel personal and intentional, embracing the unique story each couple brings and thoughtfully weaving it into every detail of their day.
Outside of weddings and events, Kendall enjoys beach walks, getting lost in a good book, and spending quality time with her family.
Jayme Brand - Owner / Lead Planner
Jayme’s passion for hospitality began in her home state of West Virginia, where she grew up working at the iconic Greenbrier Resort. After relocating to Charleston, she and her husband, Tom, founded Brand Bars and Events in 2014 while planning their own wedding, an experience that inspired her to turn a lifelong love of service into a thriving business.
With a background spanning four- and five-star resorts, casinos, and a variety of hospitality roles, Jayme brings a refined eye for detail and a deep understanding of guest experience to every event she plans. Her approach is rooted in creating seamless, meaningful celebrations that feel both elevated and personal.
When she’s not bringing wedding visions to life, Jayme enjoys getting lost in a good book, exploring new destinations, and spending time with her dog, Whiskey.
Lauren Kelly - Lead Planner
Growing up with a big family in New York, Lauren developed an appreciation for meaningful gatherings and close-knit celebrations. While attending St. Johns University, she discovered her passion for event coordination. After making Charleston home, she began working with Brand Bars, where she combines creativity and traditions to craft unforgettable wedding experiences. In her free time she enjoys the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
